Laguna Playhouse and Lythgoe Family Panto have announced that OLIVIA SANABIA (Amazon's “Just Add Magic,” Disney's “Coop and Cami Ask the World”) will star as “Dorothy” and BARRY PEARL (“Grease”) will star as “The Wizard” in THE WONDERFUL WINTER OF OZ: A HOLIDAY PANTO, written by Kris Lythgoe, choreography by Mason Trueblood, musical direction by Andy Street and directed by Bonnie Lythgoe. 

Eddie Cooper, Lilli Cooper and Jennifer Sánchez will join Santino Fontana for Red Bull Theater's all-star benefit performance of Your Own Thing, the 1968 hit Off-Broadway rock musical suggested by Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. This one-night-only performance will take place Monday December 12th at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Symphony Space.  

Bob Taylor, Executive Director of Great Lakes Theater and Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival and Director of Finance for Idaho Shakespeare Festival, will retire next summer. His time with GLT and ISF will conclude in June of 2023, while he will continue through the end of the summer at LTSF to wrap up their 2023 season.

Original Elphaba Idina Menzel has revealed the advice that she gave to Cynthia Erivo, who will be playing the role in the upcoming two-part film adaption of Wicked. Erivo will be joined by Ariana Grande as Glinda and Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero in the upcoming film, helmed by In the Heights director Jon M. Chu.
