Legendary punk rock band Rancid are excited to announce a handful of North American tour dates in continued support of their ninth studio album Trouble Maker. The dates will begin September 14 in Pittsburgh, PA and wrap September 28 in Denver, CO. All dates will feature Rancid and  Pennywise with special guest support line-ups that vary by city including Suicidal Tendencies, The English Beat, Turnstile, Aquabats, Iron Reagan and Angel Du$t. The House Theatre of Chicago announces its productions for the 18th season. The 2019 - 2020 Season will include the 10th anniversary production of The House's original ballet-free production of The Nutcracker, November 7 - December 29; the world-premiere of Brett Neveu's Verboten, January 16 - March 8, 2020; Shakespeare's Henry V, directed by The House's Artistic Director Nathan Allen, March 19 - May 10, 2020. The Magic Parlour, featuring magician Dennis Watkins, will continue its open run at The Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel.

Cast, director and designers have been announced for HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, the thoughtfully funny and hard-rocking musical by Stephen Trask and John Cameron Mitchell that will close out Theo Ubique's first season in its new home on Howard Street in Evanston.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, the nonprofit cultural center located at the site of the 1969 Woodstock festival, today announced that Elvis Costello & The Imposters and Blondie will perform at the center on Saturday, July 20th as the first stop on their coast-to-coast co-headlining tour.

LA-by-way-of-NYC band, Slothrust, share their new video for 'Peach' from their recently released their fourth LP, The Pact. Kerrang! Radio, who debuted the video, says it 'features child-like cartoony magic realism.' Vocalist/guitart Leah Wellbaum explains the vision behind the video, saying, “Music is potent to all creatures, and I love this fairytale-esque idea of a song that is so magnetic that the creatures of the forest can't help but be pulled in to join the magic.”

Alt-rock godfather and Chainsaw Kittens frontman Tyson Meade has released his new record Robbing The Nuclear Family via Shaking Shanghai. The creative zeal that established Meade as an iconic leader of the alternative rock movement is inescapable throughout the album, and the 10 tracks that make up Robbing The Nuclear Family draw widely from his signature mix of punk energy, vivid arrangements, and politically charged lyrics.
