The Kennedy Center brings the fun outdoors this summer with four free rooftop happy hours, taking place on Thursdays June 13, July 11, July 18, and August 1 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Lucy Mason' and a sterling remix of the track by Pages, Canadian recording artist and producer NICOLAAS offers up a new remix by Louis La Roche released on 26th April via Haven Sounds. UK-born nu-disco/ French house/ funk producer, remixer and DJ Louis La Roche has previously provided official remixes for top artists with the likes of Basement Jaxx, Fred Falke, Spiller and Aeroplane as well as featured on popular Youtube channels, MrDeepSense gaining 1.1 million views and Majestic Casual gaining 1.4 million views. Louis La Roche has shared the stage with artists such as Armand Van Helden, A-Trak, Aeroplane, and 2ManyDJs as well as supporting Kylie Minogue on her Kiss Me Once tour.

It's been seven years since multi-platinum rock band ANGELS & AIRWAVES have played live and three years since they've released new music. The waiting ends with today's announcement of a much-anticipated tour and the release of new track “Rebel Girl”.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, the nonprofit cultural center located at the site of the 1969 Woodstock festival, today announced that Elvis Costello & The Imposters and Blondie will perform at the center on Saturday, July 20th as the first stop on their coast-to-coast co-headlining tour.

LA-by-way-of-NYC band, Slothrust, share their new video for 'Peach' from their recently released their fourth LP, The Pact. Kerrang! Radio, who debuted the video, says it 'features child-like cartoony magic realism.' Vocalist/guitart Leah Wellbaum explains the vision behind the video, saying, “Music is potent to all creatures, and I love this fairytale-esque idea of a song that is so magnetic that the creatures of the forest can't help but be pulled in to join the magic.”

As amazing as it sounds, NYC rock legends Binky Philips & The Planets after 47 years will be releasing their debut album “Established 1972 NYC” on April 26th! David Fricke of Rolling Stone once described  the band as “the best rock & roll band I never saw or heard.” 

Alt-rock godfather and Chainsaw Kittens frontman Tyson Meade has released his new record Robbing The Nuclear Family via Shaking Shanghai. The creative zeal that established Meade as an iconic leader of the alternative rock movement is inescapable throughout the album, and the 10 tracks that make up Robbing The Nuclear Family draw widely from his signature mix of punk energy, vivid arrangements, and politically charged lyrics.

Organized by Arika, Amalle Dublon, Jerron Herman, Carolyn Lazard, Park McArthur, Alice Sheppard, and Constantina Zavitsanos, the festival features performances and readings by Eli Clare, John Lee Clark, Kayla Hamilton, Johanna Hedva, Jerron Herman, Cyr e Jarelle Johnson, Camisha L. Jones, Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha, Jordan Lord, NEVE, Akemi Nishida and Alice Sheppard.

Continuing its tradition of elevating exceptional storytelling rooted in today's global film communities, the 18th annual Festival will showcase debut works from emerging talent and new works from notable filmmakers. The program includes discoveries, comedies, music-centered, political and social films. The 2019 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 24 - May 5.

Art rock duo In The Valley Below has announced their sophomore full-length album and its motion picture companion, The Pink Chateau, will be arrivingApril 26 on Bright Antenna - sharing their new Dave Sitek (TV on the Radio) produced single, “Rise” today, along with a trailer from the film via YouTube.

With the original run and first extension completely sold out, Steep Theatre is extending the run of Ike Holter's Red Rex through March 30. Jack Miggins, who was nominated for a Jeff Award for his work in Steep's 2014 production of The Vandal, will join the cast in the role of Adam beginning on March 13. Tickets are on sale now at steeptheatre.com/redrex, and they're expected to sell very quickly.
