Tommy Stinson, a cofounder of legendary indie-rockers the Replacements, headlines an all-star benefit concert for Hudson's Little League at Club Helsinki Hudson on Friday, July 5, at 8pm. Stinson will appear with longtime friend and collaborator Chip Roberts in a duo called Cowboys in the Campfire. Also performing are freak-folk outfit Dust Bowl Faeries, indie-rock singer-songwriter Jesse Malin, and Guilty Pleasure, one of the region's premiere party bands.

Hudson's own Tommy Stinson has played with Guns N' Roses, Soul Asylum, Bash & Pop, and the Replacements, where he rose to fame in the 1980s.

Guilty Pleasure is one of the region's most coveted party bands. They put their own high energy spin on all genres of music including pop, classic/alternative rock, funk, and country. This female-fronted band of classically trained musicians has been delighting audiences all over the area since 2014. They are well-known for their dance party atmosphere and popular song selections.

Jesse Malin's career began as a young teenager in Queens, N.Y., as the frontman for the seminal New York City hardcore band Heart Attack. He was lead singer for glam-punk band D Generation in the 1990s. Malin reinvented himself as a rootsy indie-rock singer-songwriter in the vein of Ryan Adams, Steve Earle, and Lucinda Williams in the early oughts.

Dust Bowl Faeries is a dark-carnival band based in Catskill and led by Helsinki open-mic co-host Ryder Cooley, a multidisciplinary artist and musician. Their eclectic repertoire of songs draws inspiration from circus, post-punk and Eastern European folk music. Hazel, a disembodied taxidermy ram, performs with Dust Bowl Fairies as their mascot-spirit animal.
