Irish Repertory Theatre announced today that Meet Me in St. Louis: A Holiday Special in Song and on Screen will join their fall 2020 season. Meet Me in St. Louis features a book by Hugh Wheeler, songs by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blane, and is based on 'The Kensington Stories' by Sally Benson and the MGM motion picture Meet Me in St. Louis.

Neglected Musicals in association with Hayes Theatre Co will present MEET ME IN ST LOUIS at Hayes Theatre Co from Wednesday 26 August for a limited number of presentations. Directed by Richard Carroll, based on the heartwarming MGM film, staring Judy Garland, MEET ME IN ST LOUIS is a rare treasure in the musical theatre, a wholesome and delightful portrait of a turn-of-the-century American family. It is the summer of 1903, and the Smith family eagerly anticipates the opening of the 1904 World's Fair. Over the course of a year, the family's mutual respect, tempered with good-natured humor, helps them through romance, opportunity, and heartbreak. Memorable musical numbers include Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, The Boy Next Door, The Trolley Song, and Whenever I'm with You.

The French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF), New York's premier French cultural institution, today announced Crossing The Line Festival 2018, featuring leading international artists in a wide-ranging program of events, performances, and exhibitions from September 18 to October 13, 2018. Turner Classic Movies (TCM) will pay homage to the glittering world of Hollywood musicals with Mad About Musicals!, a special month of programming celebrating timeless movie musicals such as The Wizard of Oz, Singin' in the Rain and Cabaret. TCM is once again partnering with Ball State University and Canvas to offer a free online multimedia course tied to this programming special about the history of the musical genre and its evolution with cultural and technological shifts. 'Disney Junior Dance Party On Tour' Presented by Pull-Ups is extending its high-energy interactive tour, taking the immersive live concert experience designed for kids and families into some of the biggest markets in the US. With most of the initial dates sold out and second shows being added in multiple markets, the 90-minute concert that brings the beloved characters from the #1 preschool television network's hit series to life is adding 50 new shows starting in September.
