Following intense flooding in the Decker Theatre, New Conservatory Theatre Center has made the decision to postpone the upcoming performances of Jonathan Larson's tick, tick…BOOM!.

tick, tick ... BOOM! comes to Theatre Tallahassee next year. Performances run April 21 - May 7, 2023. Auditions are set for Sunday, February 26 and Monday, February 27, from 7-10pm.

Curtain Players presents tick, tick...BOOM! the autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, who revolutionized theater as the creator of Rent.

In March, New Conservatory Theatre Center will bring tick, tick... BOOM! to the NCTC stage. From the mind of Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner Jonathan Larson, the creator of the generation-defining musical Rent, comes a pulse-pounding and profound musical which treads the line between autobiography and artist's battle cry.

Before there was RENT, there was tick, tick … BOOM! Join Blackfriars Theater for a remount of this stunning production, directed by Blackfriars Theatre Artistic Director, Brynn Tyszka. 

Boom Arts is presenting the U.S. premiere of the solo theater performance OKINUM following its run at the International PuSh Festival in Vancouver, BC, and in Berlin, Germany. OKINUM will have a limited three-day engagement February 9-11, 2023, at the Hampton Opera Center.

Portland Center Stage and Boom Arts are partnering on their first co-production, Kristina Wong’s witty, tour-de-force look at the early days of the pandemic, Kristina Wong, Sweatshop Overlord. The play begins preview performances on November 5, opens on November 11, and runs through December 18 in the Ellyn Bye Studio at The Armory.

The Winter Park Playhouse, in Winter Park, FL is extremely good at producing intimate, sometimes lesser-known, but always high-quality musicals. In my short time here in Orlando, I have had the pleasure of visiting the Playhouse on a few occasions, and each time have been thrilled at my experience – not just because the shows themselves were outstanding, but because the environment radiates warmth, positivity and a true love of the craft of musical theatre. So, it was once again my pleasure to make it out this weekend to see the latest production of The Winter Park Playhouse’s 20th anniversary season – SH-BOOM! LIFE COULD BE A DREAM, and once again I came away with a huge smile and a heartwarming feeling. This latest production is everything audiences have come to expect: a fun and entertaining night of musical theatre, presented by a highly talented cast and imagined by a strong creative team.
