'Good Morning America' went behind the scenes of Broadway's newest hit, 'Be More Chill' on Tuesday morning! The musical officially opened on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Broadway's Lyceum Theatre.

Be More Chill is getting its upgrade! The new musical will begin performances at Broadway's Lyceum Theatre (149 West 45th Street) on Wednesday, February 13 at 8PM. The official opening night is Sunday evening, March 10.

Will Roland joined AM to DM by BuzzFeed News this morning to discuss his return to Broadway as the star in the new musical, 'Be More Chill,' his real-life take on high school, how social media has affected theatre, and what Broadway revival he'd love to star in. During the interview he spoke about 1776 saying, 'I love 1776. It's a great show that does not get enough credit. It's all about this short, loud man screaming America into existence.'

With the support of Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS (http:www.broadwaycares.org) and in partnership with When We All Vote (www.whenweallvote.org), stars of Broadway have come together to form #BeltTheVote, a nonpartisan social media campaign encouraging all people to register and vote - most urgently on November 6th.  The nationwide movement, made up of theaters, schools and various artistic communities, is dedicated to giving America's theater lovers the information and tools they need to get out to the polls and vote.

The New York Lottery and McCann New York have teamed up to create a new ad showing that the odds of falling in love with a stranger on the street are even smaller than winning the lotto. The commercial, composed by Be More Chill's Joe Iconis, shows a young couple who meet crossing the street. They proceed to sing a romantic song about how great they are for each other before realizing they just don't have much in common.

TODAY's Hoda Kotb sat down with John Legend, Sara Bareilles, Brandon Victor Dixon and composer Andrew Lloyd Webber to talk about their live performance of "Jesus Christ Supertar Live in Concert," which attracted more than 10 million viewers. Webber says he's "never been so proud of 'Superstar' in his life," which Legend calls "the best compliment we could get' on TODAY. Watch the clip below!
