Duluth Playhouse will invite the community to a season reveal party at the NorShor Theatre on Wednesday, March 27. For its 110th anniversary, the organization has announced that it will be producing a collection of plays and musicals never before seen in the Main Stage and Underground seasons.

Duluth Playhouse will present Next to Normal, running March 15 - 31, 2024 at the NorShor Theatre.

Get ready for some side-splitting laughter as Mel Brooks’ YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN comes alive this fall at Duluth Playhouse. Experience the timeless comedy and memorable songs that have made this show a hit. Don't miss out on this hilarious production!

Duluth Playhouse has announced their 2023-2024 Underground season, a collection of plays at the pulse of what's happening in contemporary theater. Duluth Playhouse Underground is dedicated to high-quality productions of unique stories. This fresh series of remarkable productions has an independent spirit of its own. 

On Friday, April 28 Duluth Playhouse Youth Theatre will open TUCK EVERLASTING TYA at the NorShor Theatre. Based on Natalie Babbitt’s best-selling children’s classic, this Theatre for Young Audiences edition of TUCK EVERLASTING is a condensed version of the Broadway musical. With a run time of 70 minutes, this production is great for folks of all ages. Check out production photos here!

​​​​​​​Duluth Playhouse celebrates the opening night of Little Women, The Musical. Destined to be the holiday event of the season, this musical telling was created for the whole family. The production opens December 2 and runs through December 18, 2022 at the NorShor Theatre.

Having called the Depot home since 1977, Duluth Playhouse has announced the Duluth Playhouse Youth Theatre and School of Performing Arts will be relocating to the NorShor Theatre facility located at 211 East Superior Street in Duluth after this Sunday's 2PM performance of Disney's High School Musical.

Duluth Playhouse produces the Minnesota premiere of the psychological drama Make Believe at the Underground Theatre May 19-28th. For the Conlee kids, playing house is no longer a game when their parents inexplicably disappear. Thirty-two years later and now adults returning to their childhood attic, the search for answers continues. Make Believe opened to rave reviews during its Off-Broadway run in 2019, with the New York Times naming it a Critic's Pick. Tony-nominated playwright Bess Wohl’s rich and moving drama invites the audience to rethink their own childhood experiences and explore the questions we carry with us.

Duluth Playhouse has announces it is bringing the Family Theatre series and The Duluth Playhouse School of Performing Arts to the Norshor Theatre facility located at 211 East Superior Street in Duluth. In addition, The Underground series will now be produced at Zeitgeist in the Zeitgeist Teatro Performing Arts Theater at 222 East Superior Street. 

The Duluth Playhouse Board of Directors announces that Wes Drummond has been hired as Executive Director, effective May 11, 2021. He joins Phillip Fazio, who was recently hired as Producing Artistic Director.

Penn State Centre Stage Virtual will present The Living Room Project, the second of a series of online episodes to benefit for the School of Theatre Future Fund, at 8 p.m. EDT, on Thursday, August 13.
