This holiday season is a perfect time to see a Broadway show. During Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s weeks, many shows are changing their performance schedules and adding special weekday matinees to accommodate visitors and locals spending their holidays in New York City.

Producers of the Broadway play Chicken & Biscuits announced that the production will resume performances on Friday, November 19, 2021, before playing a final performance of its limited engagement at Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street) on Sunday, November 28, 2021. 

The American Civil Liberties Union and the New York Civil Liberties Union have announced performers and special guests set to join their hybrid streaming and in-person Sing Out For Freedom benefit concert on Monday, November 22 at 7:30pm (EST at The Town Hall).

Guests for the special include: Angela Bassett inducting Tina Turner, with performances by Christina Aguilera, Mickey Guyton, H.E.R., and Bryan Adams, Taylor Swift inducting Carole King, with performances by Swift and Jennifer Hudson, Drew Barrymore inducting The Go-Go's, and Paul McCartney inducting Foo Fighters.

 On February 10, 2022 New York City’s Obie Award-winning The Fire This Time Festival will release an anthology entitled 25 Plays from The Fire This Time Festival: A Decade of Recognition, Resistance, Resilience, Rebirth and Black Theatre.

Audiences at St Helens Theatre Royal during November can look forward to a packed programme dedicated to music, as well as comedy performers including Johnny Vegas and a top children's touring show featuring mythical beasts.

The UK premiere has been announced for Mrs. Doubtfire, the new comedy musical based on the iconic movie. Tickets for the Manchester season of Mrs. Doubtfire go on priority sale on Monday 8 November and on general sale on Thursday 11 November.

Nkeki Obi-Melekwe is an original Broadway cast member of TINA – THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL, which marks her Broadway debut, after drawing rave reviews for her portrayal of the iconic Tina Turner in the West End production.

Nick Rashad Burroughs, Broadway performer and recording artist currently in the Original Broadway Company of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, has premiered his new music video for the single 'Crazy' off of his debut ep, 'Groove Machine'. 

Mila Jam, the transgender singer, songwriter, dancer, actor and LGBTQ activist, joins the cast of  I Put a Spell on You: The Sanderson Variant, Jay Armstrong Johnson’s annual love letter to the cult-classic film Hocus Pocus.

Featuring festive favourites from the musical theatre cannon, traditional carols, and more, the concert will be hosted by Tom Read Wilson and Dolly Diamond, with musical direction by George Francis and BSL translation by Paul Whittaker alongside a host of West End stars.
