The New York Burlesque Festival is the largest and most acclaimed festival of its kind in the world and has attracted sold-out crowds since its premiere in 2003. 

Little Fish Theatre will return to live performance this summer with the 23rd annual Pick of the Vine, a fast-paced festival of short plays opening August 8 and running through August 24.

For the sixth year (and the first since before COVID), Rover Dramawerks will present a festival of 10-minute comedies. Selected from over 250 plays submitted blind from playwrights all over the world, eleven short plays will be presented April 11-20.

In 'Don't Miss This: a Variety Show Spectacular,' eleven of New York's most dazzling variety artists will gather at The Slipper Room, 167 Orchard Street, Monday, May 9 for a variety show to celebrate publication of 'Don't Miss This: A Decade of Eccentric Performing Arts, 2010-2020,' a new, 284-page, hardcover photo book by Jim R. Tickets are on sale now for Northern Sky's 2022 season, which features two original musicals performed outdoors at the Peninsula State Park amphitheater and two performed indoors at their Gould Theater in Fish Creek.

As part of its ongoing virtual season, at 7 p.m. on August 7, Northern Sky Theater will present Trunk Songs, a virtual concert of songs that were written for original Northern Sky musicals but didn't make that particular show's final cut.
