New Jersey Symphony’s Summer Outdoor Concert at Liberty State Park in Jersey City on Sunday, June 30, will move indoors due to inclement weather.

Bill Kenwright, together with his Theatre Royal Windsor, has announced that Judge John Deed stars Martin Shaw and Jenny Seagrove continue in an extended run of the world premiere of the funny and sad play ALONE TOGETHER - a new, witty, tender and thought-provoking play by Windsor-born actor/writer Simon Williams.

Judge John Deed stars Martin Shaw and Jenny Seagrove will reunite for the first time in a world premiere of the comedy ALONE TOGETHER - a new, witty, tender and thought-provoking play by Windsor-born actor/writer Simon Williams, for a two week run from Monday 7 August – Saturday 19 August 2023 at Theatre Royal Windsor.

 New Jersey City University (NJCU) and the NJCU Center for the Arts, in conjunction with onCUE Chronicles, will present “The Third Rail”, a story about a journey to freedom, on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. The performance will be held at the Margaret Williams Theatre located inside NJCU’s Hepburn Hall, 2039 Kennedy Boulevard, Jersey City, N.J.

This spring, New Jersey City University (NJCU) and the NJCU Center for the Arts is offering top-quality performances in a wide variety of genres and styles, from literary talks to musical theatre. All events are held at the Margaret Williams Theatre on NJCU's campus and ticket prices range from free to $25.

Burning Coal Theatre Company has announced its production of Lynn Nottage's Mlima's Tale, directed by Ana Radulescu.  Mlima's Tale will run January 26 – February 12, 2023, at the Murphey School, located at 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC 27604.   Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2 pm. 

Burning Coal Theatre Company will present its production of What If If Only (US premiere) and Air (world premiere) by Caryl Churchill, directed by Ana Radulescu, June 9 - 26, 2022.  This production, directed by Burning Coal’s Associate Artistic Director, will be performed at Burning Coal’s home, the Murphey School, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC 27604. 

The Caroline L. Guarini Department of Music, Dance and Theatre at New Jersey City University (NJCU), in collaboration with the New Jersey Symphony will present Symphony No. 9 in D minor by Ludwig van Beethoven, this Saturday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. The performance will be held at the Margaret Williams Theatre located inside NJCU's Hepburn Hall, 2039 Kennedy Boulevard, Jersey City, N.J.

New Jersey City University Music, Dance and Theatre Department, in collaboration with Joffrey Ballet School presents Pippin. The curtain goes up for two weekends of performances, beginning Friday, March 25 at NJCU's Margaret Williams Theater, located on campus in Hepburn Hall, 2039 Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City, N.J.

New Jersey City University will host two days of hot jazz when the NJCU Center for the Arts, in partnership with faculty from the NJCU Music, Dance and Theatre departments, presents the 2021 Winter Jazz Fest. The two-day event will be held at the Margaret Williams Theatre in Hepburn Hall on campus on Saturday, December 4 from 12-9:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 5 from 12-6 p.m.

The NJCU Center for the Arts will present a live Korean Folk-Pop concert on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at  8 p.m. when Ak Dan Gwang Chil (ADG7) — direct from Korea — performs in the Margaret Williams Theatre (2039 John F. Kennedy Boulevard) on campus at New Jersey City University (NJCU) as part of their tour of the United States East Coast, California and Canada.

On Saturday March 7, the NJCU Center for the Arts presents the celebrated documentary 'Bill Evans: Time Remembered' which captures the genius of the legendary pianist through interviews, rare archival footage, and conversations with great musicians such as Jack DeJohnette and Tony Bennett. The program takes place at Ingalls Recital Hall on the Jersey City campus of NJCU and features a pre-screening concert with pianist Joel Zelnik, bassist Gary Mazzaroppi, and drummer David Cox.

The NJCU Center for the Arts presents Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass in concert on Saturday, February 22, at 8:00 p.m. with a special school time program on Thursday, February 20. An internationally acclaimed brass ensemble, the group is comprised of some of America's top musicians who will bring a rousing New Orleans Mardi Gras celebration to Jersey City.

New Jersey City University (NJCU) and Jersey City Theater Center (JCTC) will present a school-time commemoration for International Holocaust Remembrance Day on Thursday, January 23, at 9:45 a.m. with Carolyn Dorfman Dance, a premiere modern dance company based in New Jersey and New York City, to be held at Margaret Williams Theatre in the University's Hepburn Hall located at 2039 Kennedy Boulevard in Jersey City. Tickets for this special program are only $8.00.

Vancouver Art Gallery presents Rapture, Rhythm and the Tree Of Life - Emily Carr and Her Female Contemporaries from December 7, 2019 to June 28, 2020. Emily Carr (1871-1945) is an iconic Canadian artist who is widely recognized for her paintings of the forested landscapes of British Columbia that evoke the possibility for transcending the material world through the colour, shapes and rhythms of nature. Drawn primarily from the Gallery's permanent collection, this exhibition features a number of Carr's paintings of forest interiors-environments that she often described in her journals as offering an almost rapturous connection to the divine.

While the name Walt Disney will certainly be familiar to all those arriving at the Delacorte for Public Works' stage adaptation of the 1997 animated musical feature Hercules, hopefully a good deal of them will leave Central Park remembering the name Lear deBessonet.
