Brandi Carlile has released her rendition of “Home” from The Wiz. The new song is the latest studio work from Carlile, whose recent producer projects include Shucked writer Brandy Clark’s new album. The Wiz is also set to make its return to Broadway in 2024 with an entirely reimagined revival. It was adapted into a film in 1978 starring Diana Ross.

This June, Grammy-winning producer, composer, guitarist and songwriter Blake Mills is playing a run of shows around his performance with Joni Mitchell at Washington’s The Gorge Amphitheater. Joining him will be frequent musical collaborator Chris Weisman. The duo will kick off performances in select cities along the West Coast.
Kicking off on August 1 in Pittsburgh, Rateliff and the band will perform at Minneapolis’ Surly Brewing Festival Field, Cleveland’s Jacobs Pavilion and Raleigh’s Red Hat Amphitheater as well as multiple dates at Denver’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Chicago’s The Salt Shed and Missoula’s Kettlehouse Amphitheater.

Grammy-award winning artist Madison Cunningham recently teamed up with singer-songwriter and producer Remi Wolf for “Hospital (One Man Down),” officially out now. The track is produced by Ethan Gruska (Phoebe Bridgers, Marcus Mumford) who is a frequent collaborator for both Cunningham and Wolf.

Brandi Carlile won three more awards at the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards, bringing her total number of GRAMMY wins to nine. After winning Best Americana Album (In These Silent Days), Best Rock Song (“Broken Horses”) and Best Rock Performance (“Broken Horses”), Carlile performed “Broken Horses” during the live awards broadcast.
Major League DJz and Major Lazer unveil remixes of their collaborative track, “Koo Koo Fun” featuring Nigerian icon Tiwa Savage and DJ Maphorisa, by Bianca Costa, Chloé Caillet, Francis Mercier and Nic Fanciulli. The original version features contributions from Don Jazzy and Stargate, was released last year alongside a video.
On Saturday, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats made their heralded return to “Austin City Limits” to perform songs off their third studio album The Future as well as some additional fan favorites. Recorded live at ACL’s home studio in Austin, the performance marks the second time the band has appeared on the Peabody Award-winning program.
