Preview performances begin tonight at 8 PM for the return of Slave Play, the ground-breaking work by Tony Award- nominee Jeremy O. Harris under the direction of Tony Award nominee Robert O’Hara, ahead of a Thursday, December 2 opening night at the August Wilson Theatre. 

Complete casting has been announced for the return Broadway engagement of Jeremy O. Harris' Slave Play at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street). Joining the production are Devin Kawaoka as Dustin and Jonathan Chad Higginbotham as Phillip. They join returning original Broadway and NYTW cast members.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Slave Play will return to Broadway beginning later this fall. The return engagement, directed by Tony Award nominee Robert O’Hara, will begin performances Tuesday, November 23 ahead of an official opening night of Thursday, December 2 for a strictly limited eight-week engagement through Sunday, January 23, 2022.

BroadwayHD announced today that George Takei’s Allegiance, which also features Broadway stars Telly Leung (Godspell, Glee) and Tony Award-winner Lea Salonga (Miss Saigon, Mulan) will be available  on the platform exclusively around the globe except in Asia beginning on March 18th.

The Outer Critics Circle (OCC), the official organization of writers on New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers and national publications, today announced its plans for honoring the 2019-2020 season of Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.

Sing Out, Louise! Productions will hold a developmental reading of Indigo, an original new musical featuring music & lyrics by MAC Award winning composer Scott Evan Davis and a book by Jay Kuo (Allegiance), Lorenzo Thione (Allegiance), and Davis.
