CHEMICALLY ALTERED, TELLY LEUNG PRODUCTIONS and YELLOW SOUND LABEL have announced the release of the soundtrack to GRIND: THE MOVIE, the short musical film.

'Grind', the independent musical short film starring Anthony Rapp (RENT), Claire Coffee (NBC's Grimm) and Pasha Pellosie (The Carrie Diaries, Law and Order: SVU), just released its first trailer. Check it out below!

The producers of 'Grind' have announced Pasha Pellosie has joined the project as their final lead, Thane. A relative newcomer, Pasha has been on The Carrie Diaries and Law and Order: SVU. He joins previously announced Anthony Rapp (RENT) and Claire Coffee (NBC's Grimm) in this independent musical short film.

Tony-award winning actress Lea Salonga (Miss Saigon, Les Miserables) and television and film icon George Takei (Star Trek, Heroes) will return to portray the roles of Gloria Suzuki and Old Sam Omura in a developmental reading of the new Broadway-bound musical, Allegiance, on October 25th at the Julia Miles Theatre in New York City. Telly Leung (Flower Drum Song, Pacific Overture, Wicked, Rent) and Allie Trimm (13, Bye Bye Birdie) also star. Allegiance is produced by Lorenzo Thione and Sing Out, Louise! Productions.

Broadway-bound musical 'Allegiance' has just released a promotional video clip that shows Tony award-winning actress Lea Salonga ('Miss Saigon', 'Les Miserables') singing the musical's opening and closing song titled 'Second Chances'. Its beautiful and infectious melody, penned by the musical's composer and lyricist Jay Kuo ('World's Apart', 'Insignificant Others'), has been getting favorable first impressions.

Its original stars, Lea Salonga ('Miss Saigon,' 'Flower Drum Song') and George Takei ('Heroes,' 'Star Trek'), accompanied by the musical's creators, new cast members and artistic staff, are now bringing ALLEGIANCE to New York City for its second staged reading on Monday, February 22, 2010.

Producer and writer Lorenzo Thione told BroadwayWorld.Com that their new musical ALLEGIANCE has been eyeing Tony-winning actress Lea Salonga and television icon George Takei to open the show on Broadway in 2011/12.
