The Colony Theatre has announced casting for the second installment of its Scripts & Sips playreading series, What Doesn't Kill You Hurts You Longer by Steve Apostolina, directed by 10-time Artios Award-winner Michael Donovan.

Diane Keaton made her Broadway debut in the original Broadway production of Hair at the age of 22. The landmark musical started out at the Public Theater off-Broadway in 1967 before transferring to the Biltmore Theatre on Broadway in 1968. Keaton joined the cast for the Broadway run, originating her track in the show.

Perfect World is written by Librettist & Co-Lyricist Alan Edmunds with music by Composer & Co-Lyricist Richard Winzeler, and Directed and Choreographed by Kay Cole. 

All Roads Theatre Company has announced its second annual benefit gala, Broadway Showstoppers, starring Michael Feinstein, Joely Fisher, Dermot Mulroney, and John Stamos.

A new, mystery musical aet in the twenties Perfect World tells the true-life story of Barbara Follett, a precocious child writer who had an extraordinary love of writing. 

Reminisce starring Ashna Sharan, Wayne Jay, Elisa Nixon and Roger Gutierrez will make its World Premiere at the Oscar-Qualifying LA Shorts on Saturday, July 26th at 3:15pm at the Regal Cinema at LA Live.

The Wedding Singer is a delightful retro romantic comedy musical at the Colony Theatre in Burbank through June 29th.  Confectionary light, with killer choreography and eye-candy 1980s costumes and sets, The Wedding Singer is a big whipped cream dollop of pure joy.

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of two groundbreaking, iconic musicals CHICAGO and A CHORUS LINE, Segerstrom Center for the Arts in association with Spot-On Entertainment presented a one-nigh-only star-studded concert featuring the music of John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Marvin Hamlisch. The lineup included Tony Award nominees Tony Yazbeck and OC native Eden Espinosa, plus Max Clayton, Jason Graae, and original A CHORUS LINE cast member Kay Cole. The event was hosted by Scott Coulter and featured pianist John Boswell and the Fabulous 50 orchestra under the direction of Rob Istad.

Broadway star Kay Cole, who portrayed Maggie in the original production of A Chorus Line, has joined the cast of The Wedding Singer at The Colony Theatre.

Celebrities, family, friends, and members of the community gathered in St. Louis on Friday evening to celebrate the life of the late Ken Page. The celebration, hosted and produced by The Muny, was held in the packed-to-capacity Sheldon Concert Hall.
