Uptown Players, a professional theater located in the Uptown area of Dallas, has unveiled its highly anticipated 2023-2024 season.

Dallas Theater Center (DTC) has announced its 2023 - 2024 Season, including The Rocky Horror Show, I Am Delivered’t, Every Brilliant Thing, Dial M For Murder, Fannie: The Music and Life of Fannie Lou Hamer, and Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

Dallas Theater Center's annual fundraising gala, Renaissance Centerstage, will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre.

Uptown Players presents its 20th annual fundraiser Broadway Our Way '23. This year's production is written and directed by B.J. Cleveland, choreographed by Jeremy Dumont with music direction by Kevin Gunter and Vonda K Bowling and musical arrangements by Adam C. Wright. Broadway Our Way will run Apriil 20 - 23, at the Kalita Humphreys Theater.

Tickets are now available for Dallas Theater Center's annual fundraising Gala, Renaissance Centerstage, to take place at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

Dallas Theater Center (DTC) presents Native Gardens at the Kalita Humphreys Theater Feb. 9 - Feb. 26. Directed by Sylvia Cervantes Blush. Native Gardens is a brilliant comedy written by Mexican-American playwright Karen Zacarías, in which cultures and gardens clash, turning well-intentioned neighbors into feuding enemies.

Dallas Theater Center (DTC) has announced its third public meeting on Wednesday, December 7 to present the Kalita Humphreys Theater Campus Master Plan. The event will be held at 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Kalita Humphreys Theater located at 3636 Turtle Creek Boulevard, Dallas, TX 75204 

The Uptown Players 2022/2023 season will open the the bold new musical comedy Head Over Heels, by Jeff Whitty & James McGruder, featuring the music of the Go-Go's.

Kevin Moriarty, who has served as Dallas Theater Center's  Enloe/Rose Artistic Director for 15 years, has been named Executive Director, following the recent announcement of the retirement of DTC managing director Jeffrey Woodward, who has served in that  position for eight years.

Dallas Theater Center (DTC) presents A Christmas Carol at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre Nov. 25 - Dec. 24. Directed by Diane and Hal Brierley Resident Acting Company member Alex Organ and starring Kieran Connolly as Ebenezer Scrooge, A Christmas Carol is brimming with joyful songs, magical spirits and holiday cheer as this holiday classic embodies a story of joy, redemption and the spirit of Christmas.

Dallas Theater Center (DTC) presents Trouble in Mind at the Kalita Humphreys Theater Oct. 13 - 30. Directed by Diane and Hal Brierley Resident Acting Company member Tiana Kaye Blair, Trouble in Mind is a funny, moving, and ultimately shattering look at racism, identity, and ego in the high-stakes world of New York Theater.

Dallas Theater Center's Clue, the first production of the 2022-2023 season, begins performances at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre. Clue is directed by Daytime Emmy Award-winning Alan Muraoka; who has appeared on Sesame Street, as well as directed, for more than 25 years. Viewers may recognize him as “Alan”, the beloved character who runs Mr. Hooper's store. 

The Uptown Players 2022 season will close with Douglas Carter Beane's 2006 heartfelt drama, The Little Dog Laughed.

he season will feature the world premiere of Silver Foxes, a new play by the writing team of “The Golden Girls”, plus the regional premieres of the 2019 Drama Desk nominated musical, Head over Heels and the recent Broadway hit Chicken & Biscuits. Rounding out the 2022-2023 season is the regional premiere of Cruel Intentions: The 90's musical, a co-production with Stage West, and an all-new Broadway Our Way.
