Dallas Theater Center (DTC) celebrates 30 years with one of the city's most talented actors, Liz Mikel. She made her debut on the DTC mainstage in 1991, appearing in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Since then, Mikel has been featured in multiple DTC productions and currently features in Cake Ladies at the Dee & Charles Wyly Theatre as Tweedy-Bird, a character written specifically for her.

Tiny Beautiful Things officially marks Dallas Theater Center's (DTC) return to live performances! The production starts September 8 in the Dee & Charles Wyly Theatre. This is the first live, indoor production at DTC since March 2020.
Uptown Players has announced its 2022 season at the Kalita Humphreys Theater. The season will feature regional premieres of the critically acclaimed 2013 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, Kinky Boots, and the regional premiere of the 2019 Tony nominated two-act revival of the original 1983 trilogy Harvey Fierstein’s Torch Song.
In alignment with guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Dallas County health officials, all guests are required to wear a mask at all times at each performance held by DTC, regardless of vaccination status.

On Friday, August 20, Summer Stern will take to the stage as Little Alison in Uptown Players’s production of the musical Fun Home, roughly a full year since the show’s original opening was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The production runs August 20-29 at the Kalita Humphreys Theatre.

This brand-new version of Louisa May Alcott's classic novel about Jo March and her three unforgettably distinct sisters is presented in association with Dallas Theater Center and is directed by Sarah Rasmussen (Artistic Director of Jungle Theater, which originally commissioned the play).
Many American theater-goers have either read Little Women in High School, or seen the play, musical, or recent star-studded film. When staging this show, the challenge therefore becomes- how do you keep it fresh and original? Luckily for us, Dallas Theater Center has never had a problem with a lack of creativity, and they didn't start with this production of Little Women!
Second Thought Theatre begins its sixteenth season with the area premiere of Mlima's Tale by Lynn Nottage. Tiana Kaye Blair makes her STT directing debut with this year's season opener. Mlima's Tale begins with previews on Wednesday, February 19 and runs through Saturday, March 14. All performances of Mlima's Tale will take place at Bryant Hall on the Kalita Humphreys Campus, 3400 Blackburn Street. Tickets to Mlima's Tale can be purchased online at secondthoughttheatre.com.
