 AMT Theater will debut a new play, Bettinger’s Luggage, written by Albert M. Tapper and directed by Steven Ditmyer from September 19 to October 26, 2023. The cast includes Lou Bettinger who will be played by Richard MacDonald; George Bettinger (son of Lou) will be played by Connor Stewart of As You Like It, Teens on Broadway, and Titus Andronicus; Bessie Bettinger (sister of Lou) will be played by Lori Marcus; and Angel Diaz will be played by Sean Church Gonzalez of Waiting for Antonio.

Oedipus comes to the Cameri Theatre next month. Performances run 21 September - 3 October.

It’s something that might make me uncomfortable, even if I’m not sure why. It’s a work that evokes such strong emotions that I am left thinking about it for days. Ragtime is good art. Broadway at Music Circus has outdone itself with this powerful production about social justice, feminism, and tenacity. Based on the novel of the same name by E.L. Doctorow, Ragtime opened on Broadway in 1998 and won four Tony Awards, including Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score.
