Creative programming for theatre companies has become a do or die venture during the covid pandemic, so Starring Buffalo and Musicalfare Theatre have joined forces to give their own patrons and the world of the internet a chance to escape lockdown woes. Their recent online concert showcases two of Broadway's youngest and best talents. Zachary Noah Piser, who is the most recent alternate star of DEAR EVAN HANSEN on Broadway and in Toronto, and his partner Adam Rothenberg, Assistant Conductor of the eagerly awaited Broadway revival of COMPANY, came to town to perform an exciting live concert. Using Starring Buffalo's mantra of including Buffalo's own best talent alongside prodigious High School students, the concert was rounded out of Karen Harty and West Seneca West High School Senior Talia Mobley.

Award-winning singer/songwriter Bonnie Montgomery is widely lauded as enthusiastically for her polished parlor songs as she is for her lawless country barnburners - or for the classical opera arias she's penned at the piano.

In a loose song cycle format, this program will weave his work with the charming and witty creations of daughter Mary Rodgers (Once Upon a Mattress) and the complex and extraordinary palette of grandson Adam Guettel (The Light in the Piazza, Floyd Collins ), as we look toward the progression of musicals over the decades and into the future.

Opera Saratoga announced today the first performance events as part of the company's 60th Anniversary Season. Washington Performing Art today announced new program details, streaming dates, and subscription plans with on-sale dates for Home Delivery Plus, its forthcoming all-online series of paid-admission performances and companion experiences. A major expansion of Washington Performing Arts’s Home Delivery online programming—which began in spring 2020—the Home Delivery Plus series offers more than a dozen week-long packages of pre-recorded performances in high-quality audio/video with complementary components like artist interviews, panel discussions, and behind-the-scenes artist footage—all custom-created for this new series.
