Florida Studio Theatre has announced the lineup for its four-show weekend Children's Theatre Series, bringing families together to explore the exciting and engaging world of the performing arts at an affordable price. From a heartwarming adaptation of Charlotte's Web to award-winning plays written by elementary school students from around the world, this year's lineup has something for children of all ages…and their favorite grownups.

The Arden Theatre Company is pleased to announce their highly-anticipated return of Arden Children’s Theatre for their 2022-2023 season.  The company has a long-standing tradition of presenting professional, high-quality productions for youth, and their programming for the season features the return of a family favorite, plus a show new to Arden audiences.

DreamWrights Center for Community Arts looks to pay homage to their Youth and Family theatre roots for their celebratory 25th Anniversary Season with a stage production of popular children’s book “Charlotte’s Web”, adapted by Joseph Robinette, based on the book by E. B. White.

Stages Theatre Company has announced the 2022-23 Season of Possibility featuring a diverse blend of plays and musicals focusing on friendships, adventures, and endless possibilities! 2022-23 Season is sponsored by UnitedHealthcare.

From high-stepping and fan-favorite musicals to compelling award-winning dramas, Orlando Shakes in partnership with UCF has announced its upcoming productions for the 2022-23 season. 

Sesame Street Mecha Builders, the first of many new Sesame Workshop originals for WarnerMedia’s Cartoonito preschool programming block. More animated series and specials, including newly greenlit family miniseries Charlotte’s Web, upcoming preschool shows Bea’s Block and a Sesame Street-themed reimagining of The Nutcracker, are also set to debut.

Area students join Metropolis School of the Performing Arts to perform a family-friendly adaptation of the E.B. White classic Stuart Little, April 14-16, 2022, in the Metropolis Theatre.

The enchanting and moving story of the special friendship between Wilbur the pig and Charlotte the spider brings E.B. White’s immortal children’s classic to the stage. To save Wilbur from going to market, Charlotte begins to spin words like “remarkable” and “some pig” into her web over Wilbur’s pigpen bringing astonishment and wonder to a flabbergasted farmer and his daughter, Fern.

Hilliard Arts Council’s For Kids, By Kids production of Charlotte’s Web, the beloved children’s story by E.B White, features 20 talented young actors, grades 4-8. In the show, Wilbur, a young pig who desperately wants to avoid the butcher, is befriended by Charlotte, the barn’s spider, who proves to be “a true friend and good writer,” determined to save Wilbur. This is a play about loyalty and friendship that will give audiences of all ages a thoughtful, heartwarming and fun-filled experience. Chicago’s longest running late-night show, The Neo-Futurists’ The Infinite Wrench, returns for weekly in-person performances on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 (opening night Monday, Sept. 20), 19 months after its live shows paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The cast includes Jonesville youth Jacob Gray as Stuart. The supporting cast includes Trinity Bird (Quincy) as Mr. Little/Dr. Carey, Bailey Graham (Jonesville) as Mrs. Little/Pigeon, George North (Jackson) as Snowbell/Leroy and Pat Bogusz (Tecumseh) as Doctor/Margalo.

Welcoming audiences to an NCT production for the first time in 16 months – albeit outside and away from its traditional theater space in downtown Nashville and relocated to a working farm west of Nashville – Nolan and his team have crafted the best possible production to herald the company’s reemergence. Presented just in time to celebrate its 90th season, Charlotte’s Web exemplifies the best of NCT (which has a much-deserved and altogether stellar reputation the world over) with a sustained sense of creativity and unbridled imagination.

MST’s MainStage season will open with the wildly whimsical and equally intelligent Darwin in Malibu by Crispin Whittell, directed by Udden. It’s a meeting of the minds when Charles Darwin, Thomas Huxley, and the Bishop of Oxford, Samuel Wilberforce, meet on the beach in Malibu a century after their deaths!

Raue Center For The Arts has announced its  2021 – 2022 Mission Imagination season! Mission Imagination is Raue Center’s fine arts education program at the storied Crystal Lake theatre, one that has brought joy to over 400,000 children from school districts across the Chicagoland area. 

Rehearsals are underway for The Sauk's first ever summer production designed specifically for family audiences. The local community theatre will present 'Stuart Little,' for eight performances July 16-18 and 23-25.

Magik Theatre will present the heart-warming story of Charlotte’s Web from May 22 through July 3, at its downtown theatre at Hemisfair. Children of all ages will love this classic tale based on the book by E.B. White and adapted by Joseph Robinette.
