TheatreWorks New Milford will present the world premiere of Upstate, written and directed by Emmy© Award-winner Dorothy Lyman from May 2nd to 24th. Learn more about the show here!

The play centers around three generations of women who meet upstate over President’s Day weekend to decide the fate of their family farm and its matriarch.

NYC-based actor Michael Notardonato, soon to be featured in a new Netflix series, will star in American Theater Group’s (ATG), endearing play My Italy Story by NJ playwright Joseph Gallo. The 2024-25 Season Opener will be directed by Charlotte Cohn, who most recently helmed ATG’s world premiere Canned Goods.

Locally-based Emmy-awarding winning artist Dorothy Lyman brings her heartfelt and honest solo play, Violent and Me: A Mama-logue, to Washington, CT as a special fundraiser for Connecticut Theatre Exchange (CTX).

The Palace Theater is unveiling an exciting new initiative when  Table Readings at the Palace Theater debuts on Saturday, October 16, 2:00pm in the intimate Poli Club space.  The October 16 reading is Kate Katcher's  The LIttle SIsters of Littleton and features Emmy Award winner Dorothy Lyman ('Mama's Family,' 'All My Children') and Sachi Parker ('Peggy Sue Got Married,' 'Back to the Future,' 'Scrooged') .

Find out when the Palace Theater's fourth season of its popular 2ND ACT series resumes on October 13 with a return engagement by the popular Father Jim Sullivan, the charismatic priest from the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Waterbury.

The Palace Theater's new Table Reading Series set to debut  on September 11, has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. The rest of the series is slated to go forward as planned. 

To commemorate the twentieth anniversary of  9/11 the Palace Theater is unveiling a new initiative, Table Readings at the Palace Theater, presented by Gracewell Productions, with the reading of Five Bells for 9/11, a moving one-man play written and performed by New York actor Rich Swingle.
