Searchlight Pictures’ Flamin’ Hot, Eva Longoria’s feature film directorial debut, launched June 9th in a historic first for Hulu and Disney+ as a simultaneous premiere of an original film, becoming Searchlight’s most-watched streaming motion picture of all time. The Warner Theatre's Winter Film series continues with Love & Basketball, February 16 at 7 pm in the Oneglia Auditorium! The following Thursday, the Warner will present Hidden Figures on February 23, 7 pm in the Nancy Marine Studio Theatre.  

Cast slated to appear in the series will include Rosanna Arquette (Florida Man, Love is Love is Love), Melinda McGraw (Mad Men and The Dark Knight), Frank Grillo (Kingdom, Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard), Dennis Haysbert (Lucifer, The Unit), and Dee Wallace (E.T., Cujo).

“Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers” stars John Mulaney (“Saturday Night Live”) as Chip, Andy Samberg (“Palm Springs”) as Dale, and KiKi Layne (“If Beale Street Could Talk”). Also joining the cast are Will Arnett (“Arrested Development”), Flula Borg (“Pitch Perfect 2”), Dennis Haysbert (“24”), Keegan-Michael Key (“Schmigadoon!”), and more.

The film stars John Mulaney as Chip, Andy Samberg as Dale, KiKi Layne, Will Arnett, Eric Bana, Flula Borg, Dennis Haysbert, Keegan-Michael Key, Tress MacNeille, Tim Robinson, Seth Rogen, J.K. Simmons, and Chris Parnell. The hybrid live-action/CG animated action-comedy catches up with the former Disney stars in modern-day Los Angeles.

The 30th annual broadcast of the NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY CONCERT airs live on PBS Sunday, May 26, 2019, from 8:00 to 9:30 p.m., before a concert audience of hundreds of thousands, millions more at home, as well as to our troops serving around the world on the American Forces Network. 

WP Theater, in partnership with Colt Coeur, announces that Kavi Ladnier ( Just Add Magic, Heroes ) and Sendhil Ramamurthy ( Heroes, Covert Affairs ) will star in the World Premiere of the 2017 Kilroys List play Hatef**k by Rehana Lew Mirza. WP Lab Alum and 2018 Lucille Lortel Visionary Director Award winner Adrienne Campbell-Holt (WP's What We're Up Against) returns to WP Theater to direct this bracingly insightful new play, which begins Off-Broadway previews on Sunday, March 3, 2019. The four-week limited engagement through Sunday, March 31 will celebrate its official opening night on Wednesday March 13 at WP Theater (2162 Broadway).

The winners of the Directors Guild of America Outstanding Directorial Achievement Awards for 2018 were announced tonight during the 71st Annual DGA Awards at the Hollywood & Highland Center's Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood. Alfonso Cuarón won the DGA's Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for Roma.

Mosaic Theater Company of DC announces an update to our Season Four lineup. The world premiere production of Aaron Davidman's The Shooting Gallery, which was scheduled to run in repertory with the regional premiere of Native Son, has recently undergone exciting creative changes. No longer a solo performance piece, it has expanded to feature two additional actors alongside its author. Additional workshop and rehearsal time, in coordination with director Michael John Garces' busy schedule this spring, will push the production into a future Mosaic season. Mosaic will present a workshop reading of the revamped project on February 11 and 12, 2019.
