.Almost Famous is set to begin preview performances at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre tonight, October 3, 2022 with opening night on November 3, 2022.

Almost Famous, the new musical with book and co-lyrics by Academy Award winner Cameron Crowe, based on his iconic film, has partnered with one of the world’s most celebrated rock photographers, Neal Preston, to shoot exclusive photos that will be featured in the highly-anticipated Broadway production. A new track “Morocco” has been released from Almost Famous – Original Cast Recording. The song, performed by Solea Pfeiffer and Casey Likes, features music by Tom Kitt with lyrics by Cameron Crowe and Tom Kitt.

Goodman Theatre announced casting for Life After by rising star writer/lyricist/composer Britta Johnson, directed by Annie Tippe. Leading the cast of nine is Samantha Williams as teenaged Alice—a young woman who, in search of facts, uncovers a more complicated truth as she pieces together events of the fateful night that changed her family forever.

The iconic talent show, The Apollo Theater's Amateur Night had a great 'Top Dog' show on Wednesday, November 20th. The 'Super Top Dog' show will be on Wednesday, November 27th.

Broadway was the theme for Wednesday night's Amateur Night at the Apollo. Bill and Jennie Harney were guest co-hosts and graciously introduced the many talented vocal competitors.
