Just last week, the Broadway and National Tour casts of MJ gathered for a special send off celebration at the Civilian Hotel. Bane Griffith will be joining the cast of MJ in the role of ‘Little Michael’ beginning tonight, Tuesday, January 31, sharing the role with Christian Wilson. Originally from Houston, Texas, Bane will make his Broadway debut in the production.

The 7th annual Young Entertainer Awards will take place on Sunday, December 11, at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Studio City. It will be the first time the event has been held in person since 2019, before COVID forced most public gatherings to be canceled in Los Angeles.

The winner of America's longest running talent show Amateur Night at The Apollo, pianist Kofi Boakye, was crowned at the show's grand finale after he performed his signature version of 'Say Yes' by Floetry.

Just last month, Sony Music released MJ the Musical - Original Broadway Cast Recording, which is now available to purchase where music is sold. BroadwayWorld is very excited to share a track from the album- 'I'll Be There' featuring Ayana George, Christian Wilson, and Myles Frost.

Written by Brian Wilson and Roger Christian, Wilson's lead vocal on the track is considered one of his defining performances, and he later referred to 'Don't Worry Baby' as perhaps the Beach Boys' finest record. 'Darlin'', 'Wouldn't It Be Nice' & “Til I I Die” were the first three singles to be released from Melt Away.

Starting tonight, Corey J will join the cast of MJ, playing “Little Michael.” Most recently seen as “Young Simba” in The Lion King on Broadway, Corey made headlines earlier this year when he stepped into the role of “Young Nala” at a moment’s notice.
