Teatro Paraguas will present United in Blood: The Revolutionary Music and Poetry of Chile, a fully staged production opening on October 13 at the National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque for one weekend.

Teatro Paraguas presents United in Blood: The Revolutionary Music and Poetry of Chile, opening Friday, September 8th at Teatro Paraguas in Santa Fe and continuing for nine performances over three weekends.

Teatro Paraguas, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Hispanic and Latinx theatre, has announced its upcoming Fundraiser Celebration on Saturday, August 5 at the Elks Lodge from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Santa Fe poets John Macker and Argos MacCallum come together for a poetry reading and a book launch of MacCallum's latest book, The Road from Refuge Ridge (Kelsay Books, 2023) on Sunday July 9, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. at Teatro Paraguas.

Compania Chuscales y Mina Fajardo is joining with Teatro Paraguas artistic director Argos MacCallum to present a flamenco concert interwoven with selected love poems from MacCallum's recently published book Sleeping Woman Mountain.

One of the most accomplished and captivating flamenco guitarists in the world, Jose Valle Fajardo “Chuscales” grew up in a traditional gypsy family of musicians and dancers in Antequera, Spain.

Companía Chuscales y Mina Fajardo, Santa Fe's premiere flamenco dance troupe, joins with Teatro Paraguas to present live performances of Memories of Doña Tules, a tribute in dance, poetry, and music to one of Santa Fe's most notorious and influential women of the 19th century, Doña Maria Gertrudis Barceló, a.k.a. Doña Tules.

​​​​​​​Teatro Paraguas will host a book launch and poetry reading with Argos MacCallum reading from his newly published collection of poems, Sleeping Woman Mountain.  The chapbook is published by Kelsay Books (Utah), and contains collected love poems of the past 30 years.

Teatro Paraguas will present the one-act play Lola's Last Dance, by the late  Ernesto Antonio “Tony” Mares of Albuquerque, for seven performances beginning Friday, August 12, 2022.  A staged reading of his long epic poem Astonishing Light— Conversations I Never Had with Patrociño Barela, will also be presented.

As part of the ongoing Long Dead But Well Read series of readings of plays by contemporary playwrights of Shakespeare, the International Shakespeare Center and Teatro Paraguas  present The Duchess of Amalfi's Steward, by Lope de Vega.

Flamenco virtuoso Chuscales returns to Teatro Paraguas this May. 

Teatro Paraguas will present 11 short plays by Joey A. Chavez, directed by JoJo Sena de Tarnoff, Peggy Long, and Argos Maccallum.  Originally written for his theatre students at Santa Fe High between 1999 and 2009, the plays range in mood from dark suspense to unabashedly romantic to comic slapstick.  

Teatro Paraguas will present Coyote Acid, a one-act play by Santa Fe-based poet John Macker. Rounding out the evening is a reading by actors of Out of The Light: Poems from Prison, a collection of poems chosen by John Macker by renowned poets from around the world written from or about prison.
