New York Theatre Workshop's new teen rock musical Sing Street has officially opened.

Internationally Award Winning UK the makers, The Flanagan Collective & Gobbledigook Theatre, bring a modern retelling of an ancient myth for a North American Premiere. Wound from soaring, heart pounding live music and searing spoken word, ORPHEUS & EURYDICE is a show for anyone who has fallen in love, and for anyone who has lost it. ORPHEUS & EURYDICE at SoHo Playhouse is a world premiere of two internationally award winning shows. These UK 'Master Storytellers' have toured ORPHEUS across the globe, and EURYDICE was awarded Best Theatre at Adelaide Fringe Festival. Now, for the first time, the two halves of an ancient whole combine. If you like the spoken word soul of Kate Tempest; if you like the heart rending adaptation of Anais Mitchell's HadesTown; if you like the narrative musicality of Amanda Palmer - then this show is for you.

The Inheritance officially opened tonight on Broadway! BroadwayWorld attended the big night and we're taking you on the red carpet. On Saturday, October 5th, Elsie Fest returned to Central Park. Broadway's outdoor music festival Elsie Fest is a musical celebration of the Broadway stage and screen, led by singer and actor Darren Criss.

a??a??a??a??a??a??a??San Fermin will be appearing at the Bank of New Hampshire Stage (Concord, NH) on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 8PM in support of its new single a?oeThe Hungera?? (Sony Music  Masterworks/Better Company) and to launch its North American tour.  The band has earned worldwide praise for its ingenious pairing of pop-minded melodies with lushly avant-garde arrangements. Opening for San Fermin will be Lisel.

Singer-songwriter (and 9th season  American Idol winner ) Lee DeWyze will be performing at the Bank of New Hampshire Stage (Concord, NH) on Sun, October 6.

Live from Here with Chris Thile confirms additional guests for its fall season, which includes special performances from Paul Simon, Dawes, Grace Potter, J.S. Ondara, Big Thief, Aoife O'Donovan, Anais Mitchell, Dulcé Sloan, Ryan Hamilton and more. The fourth season kicked off on September 7 from its new broadcast home, New York's Town Hall. More guests will be announced and additional information on 2020 dates to come soon.

Orpheus and Euridice may have been doomed from the start, but Reeve Carney and Eva Noblezada have bright Broadway futures ahead. The stars of Broadway's biggest hit and 2019 Tony Award winner for Best Musical, Hadestown,  are bringing audiences to their feet every night at the Walter Kerr Theatre.

On Saturday, October 5th, Elsie Fest is set to take place in Central Park.

Elsie Fest, New York City's first music festival featuring stars and songs of the stage and screen, will return for its 5th year this fall! A line-up has not yet been announced, but pre-sale begins today for tickets to the October 5th event.
