Training: Originating from Grimsby, Rachel trained at the Bristol Academy of Performing Arts before attending the Royal Academy of Music where she graduated with distinction.

Theatre includes: swing in The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s), Woman One in I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (King’s Head), Johanna in Sweeney Todd (tour), Maria in West Side Story (Tobacco Factory), Sally Bowles in Cabaret (Redgrave), Toadflax in Watership Down the Musical (QEH), Fairy and understudied and played Titania in Benjamin Britten’s opera A Midsummer Nights Dream (Tobacco Factory), principal singer and dancer on the Oriana (P&O Cruises), Mad About the Musicals (UK tour), Dickens of a Christmas (Jermyn Street), Fairy Godmother in Cinderella (Rotherham Civic and Welwyn Garden City Campus West), Sharon in A Slice of Saturday Night, Nanny in Ways and Means, Florence in The Odd Couple and Madame Montaudoin in 37 Sous of Monsieur Montaudoin. Also, vocalist in Her Majesty’s Golden Jubilee Celebration (Buckingham Palace).

Television and radio include: An Enchanted Evening (BBC, Theatre Royal, Drury Lane), soprano soloist in Cabot the Musical (BBC Archive), Maria in West Side Story (BBC Bristol), principal dancer in Linx Visual Media commercial and guest vocalist on boy band Soul Intentions’ album.

Other work includes: most recently, appearing on the Love Never Dies album after working with Andrew Lloyd Webber in the workshop for the production.

The boys were cast following nationwide auditions and after months of intensive rehearsals began alternating in the role following the show's opening earlier in the year.  Billy Elliot the musical opens at The Bristol Hippodrome on Tuesday 25thOctober and runs until Saturday 26th November 2016.
