Kenny Youch

Kenny Youch (he/him) is a Los Angeles-based composer, vocalist, vocal coach, and music producer. Originally from the Seattle area, Kenny earned his Bachelor of Music from Belmont University’s School of Music before relocating to Los Angeles in 2017 and joining Rachael Lawrence Studios as a staff vocal coach.

As a vocalist, Kenny performed background vocals with Karen O and Danger Mouse in their live presentation of Lux Prima at The Theatre at Ace Hotel. His recording work has also included sessions with Glee composer, Jimmy Levine. Kenny is an artist with Cloud Microphones, and his work as a coach and producer spans musical theatre, pop, rock, jazz, and country.

Kenny is a co-creator and composer of Stone Cold, a contemporary musical retelling of the Medusa myth. The show’s “Stone Cold Killer,” written with Kathleen O’Sullivan and Delaney Guyer, was selected from approximately 450 submissions as a winner of Taylor Louderman’s 2023 Write Out Loud Contest. The song was recorded by Broadway’s Krystina Alabado and commercially released by Write Out Loud, with Kenny, Kathleen, and Delaney named as featured artists. His work has also been presented at 54 Below and The Green Room 42 in New York City.

Kenny continues to develop Stone Cold while maintaining an active Los Angeles studio as a vocal coach, vocalist, composer, and producer.
