Jonathan Smith [a.k.a. TheRealJonSmith] is an American record producer, songwriter, mixer, multi-instrumentalist, session drummer, film composer, and original member of rock band Luna Halo [Rick Rubin / Columbia Records]. Taylor Swift recorded the band's song "Untouchable" on her Fearless: "Platinum Edition" release. Jonathan was formerly based in Nashville sixteen years.
In 2024 TheRealJonSmith has joined Puddle of Mudd as their drummer and is currently touring with the band.
Jonathan recently landed a song he produced and also co-wrote with Hayley Kiyoko in Universal Pictures film and soundtrack "Jem and the Holograms".
Jonathan owns a private world-class studio in Los Angeles, CA called Native South Studios minutes from Calabasas and Malibu. His record label Native South Records is headquartered there as well.
