BIO

Sean McCabe is a Canadian composer, lyricist, and bookwriter living in Brooklyn, NY. His work has been presented at Lincoln Center, The Players at Gramercy Park, Two River Theater, New York Theatre Barn, and elsewhere. Recently, Sean won the Drama League's Anthem for the Future of Theatre challenge for his song "One Day" (music by Paulie Pecorella), and was in residence at the Catwalk Art Institute to develop his new musical David and Jonathan. His musical Saint Sebastian, with music by Jinhee Kim, was produced in concert by the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts as part of the Broadway's Future Songbook Series, as well as by the NYU Tisch New Musical Theatre Workshop, and was a semifinalist for the O'Neill National Music Theater Conference.
