EastEnders and Goodness Gracious Me star Nina Wadia will be sprinkling fairy dust over the York Theatre Royal pantomime this Christmas. She will play Fairy Sugarsnap in this year's family pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk from December 8 to January 7.

TV presenter, actor and Strictly winner Ore Oduba and actress and soap star Wendi Peters will head up the cast for this year’s spectacular Christmas pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, at Northampton’s Royal & Derngate, with the hilarious Bob Golding returning as Dame.

This August will see LENA, the new play by BAFTA and Olivier Award winner Tim Whitnall, come to the Assembly George Square playing throughout the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The UK Pantomime Association has announced the nominations for The Pantomime Awards 2023 in association with Butlin’s, ahead of the awards ceremony at the Trafalgar Theatre, in London’s West End, on Tuesday 11 April 2023 at 7pm, hosted by Christopher Biggins.

This Christmas, actress, author and vlogger Carrie Hope Fletcher will be making her pantomime debut as villain Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty at The Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury.

Carrie Hope Fletcher will be performing in her first ever pantomime when she joins the cast of Sleeping Beauty at The Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury.  The show, which is co-produced by The Marlowe and Evolution Productions, is written and directed by Paul Hendy. It will be opening in Canterbury on Friday 25 November. 

Northampton's Royal & Derngate has announced that Tony Award-nominated star Keala Settle, from The Greatest Showman, will be heading up the cast in this year's spectacular Christmas pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk.

Duncan is well-known as a member of pop group Blue. The band formed in 2001 and have had 40 number one singles worldwide, three number one UK albums and sales of over 16 million records. They took a break in 2005, before reforming to represent the UK at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest.  

Over the twelve days that Nurse Nellie Saves Panto was available to stream (23 December to 3 January), an estimated 91,000 people viewed the production – around the same number that experience the live pantomime each year at The Marlowe.

Today Sheffield Theatres announced that Damian’s Pop-Up Panto will be made available to watch online from 12pm Wednesday 23 December 2020 – Sunday 3 January 2021. Damian’s Pop-Up Panto stars Sheffield legend Damian Williams as the Dame who’s tasked with saving Christmas.
