SHANTIFY Will Return to the West End for Two-Week Run at Underbelly Boulevard Soho
The nautical musical features West End performers reimagining pop and rock classics as sea shanties
Following acclaimed runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and Ambassadors Theatre in the West End, high-energy musical sensation Shantify is sailing back into the West End for a two-week season at Underbelly Boulevard Soho. Performances will run Wednesday 3 - Sunday 14 June.
A nautical musical adventure, Shantify reimagines show tunes, rock classics and pop bangers performed by a crew of West End performers known for their rich harmonies and infectious energy, as rousing sea shanties.
A combination of humour, harmony and high-seas spirit, Shantify is an uplifting, feel-good experience that celebrates music, storytelling and the timeless pull of the sea, with a soundtrack with everything from Dolly Parton to Bon Jovi, Beyonce, Robbie Williams and more... This is Fisherman's Friends meets Choir of Man - with a raucous, feel-good twist.
About the Cast
Michael Riseley - Michael trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, where he was the winner of the Welsh Musical Theatre Young Singer of the Year Competition. West End theatre credits include Shantify (Ambassadors), The Choir of Man (Arts Theatre), The Secret Garden (London Palladium), and the 30th anniversary cast of Les Misérables (Sondheim).
Jack Whittle - Jack originated the role of Tony Blair in Tony! - The Tony Blair Rock Opera (West End and UK Tour). Other theatre includes The Comedy About A Bank Robbery and The Play That Goes Wrong (West End), Posh (Original UK Tour).
Alfie French - Theatre credits include: Cover Frederic in The Pirates of Penzance (UK Tour), Marry Me A Little (The Courtyard Theatre), Noah in Kin The Musical (Original Workshop), Detective Troughton in Run For Your Wife (Sidmouth Rep Season) and the Beast in Beauty and The Beast (The Courtyard).
Cal T. King - Cal played The Beast in The Choir of Man European Tour, inChicago, Tampa and on Norwegian Cruise Lines.
Ollie Wray - Ollie's credits include Swing/Cover Marius, Enjolras & Grantaire and Fight Captain in Les Miserables (West End), Percy Bysshe Shelley in Little Fiend (Concert) Frederick Fischer in the European premiere of White Rose The Musical (Marylebone Theatre)

Jo Parsons (Director) - Jo worked on many productions as an actor in the West End and around the world, and is the creator of Shantify and the founder of The Other Guys Entertainment. Directing Credits include Resident Director Oliver! (Gielgud Theatre), Les Misérables (Sondheim Theatre & UK and Ireland Tour), Madagascar (UK Tour), Spamalot the Monty Python Musical (The English Theatre). Emily Wood (Producer) - Emily founded Evolution Productions with her husband, Paul Hendy and the company is now one of the largest producers of pantomimes in the world. They have produced around 230 shows across the UK and internationally. Current productions include The Last Laugh (UK tour) and a spectacular new projection show, Luminiscence staged inside Manchester Cathedral.
Harry Style (Musical Director & Arranger) - Harry's Musical Director credits include Pippin & Road Show (Upstairs at the Gatehouse), Tom Lehrer is Teaching Math (OSO Arts Theatre), Max & Willy's Last Laugh (Marylebone Theatre).
