Michael Chase Gosselin Biography
Michael Chase Gosselin is a professional producer, director, choreographer, and designer based in NYC. He recently lead produced POPE! An Epic Musical, which played to sold out houses and garnered rave reviews in the 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival. From 2006 to 2012, he served as the Artistic Director and Executive Producer of Act Three Theatricals. In 2013, he co-produced and direct- ed a developmental reading of Moby Dick- A Whale of a Tale for Cameron Mackintosh. As a Director/Choreographer, recent credits include Disney’s Tarzan (Vermont Premiere), The Wed- ding Singer (NCT), Rock Nativity (Regional Pre- miere), Hairspray, Chicago, a Vermont tour of The Complete History of America (Abridged), Next to Normal (Vermont Premiere), You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and A Christmas Carol at the Helen Hayes Youth Theatre, and Legally Blonde the Musical for Clark Univer- sity. Other credits include work with QNEK, Vermont Family Theatre, Circus Smirkus, and serving as the Executive Director of the annual Green Mountain Follies. Last spring, he helmed the New England and High School Premiere of Justin Moran’s The Spidey Project, as well as a developmental reading in preparation for a national tour. Upcoming projects include producing and directing the new musical How to Survive an Apocalypse Without Really Trying, as well as moving POPE! to a commercial run in NYC. The producers of EMOJILAND THE MUSICAL announced that the production’s national tour will close after its opening in Columbus, Ohio this weekend. The hit 2020 Off-Broadway show was set for a seven-week tour originally scheduled to kick off on Friday, June 3rd in Columbus, Ohio and play several other cities across the United States.
