The Highland Park Players theater company has announced the cast and production team for the upcoming production of the Tony Award-winning musical 'Kinky Boots.' This exhilarating show, filled with toe-tapping music and a heartwarming story, will captivate audiences at the brand new McGrath Family Performing Arts Center, 1100 Laramie Ave, Wilmette, IL. Due to technical issues, Westport Country Playhouse has cancelled the first preview performance of the pop/rock musical “Next to Normal” on Tuesday, April 5, and is rescheduling ticket holders into future performances of their choice. Stravinsky based his opera Oedipus Rex on the ancient Greek tragedy by Sophocles. Oedipus Rex, is staged with minimal movement, which works well with COVID restrictions. A narrator describes the action in English.
