BIO
Mia is a singer, classical vocalist and actress. She is a 2024 CAPA Marquee Best Actress Finalist, 2024 and 2025 CS Music All-State Certified Singer and 2024 and 2025 Alumni of The Songbook Academy. She has performed on stage in numerous school and community productions. Some of her favorite shows include Into the Woods (The Witch), Mean Girls High School Version (Regina George), Fiddler on the Roof (Golde, Chava), Rent School Edition (Mimi Marquez) and Mary Poppins Jr. (Mary Poppins). The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

Set in the little village of Anatevka, the story centers on Tevye, a poor milkman, and his five daughters. With the help of a colorful and tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye tries to protect his daughters and instill them with traditional values in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. Rich in historical and ethnic detail, Fiddler on the Roof‘s universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion, leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness. Based on Sholem Aleichem stories by special permission of Arnold Perl. Performances run Dec. 2 - 17, 2023, at Gallery Players, 1125 College Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43209. Meet the senior class of 1959 at Rydell High and watch Head “greaser” Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their “Summer Nights” as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as “Greased Lightnin’,” “It’s Raining on Prom Night,” “Alone at the Drive-In Movie”.
