As the third spinoff in the “Power” franchise, “Power Book IV: Force” showcases “Tommy Egan,” led by Joseph Sikora, (“Power,” “Ozark”) who cuts ties in New York and heads to Chicago in search of family. One step leads to another and Tommy quickly finds himself in Chicago's ruthless drug game between two of the city's biggest crews.

The new season will include Tony Danza reprising his role of Italian mobster Stefano Marchetti, and of course, returning series regulars including the formidable Patina Miller as “Raquel Thomas” and MeKai Curtis in the titular role of “Kanan Stark.” Broadway alum Hailey Kilgore will also return to the series as “Jukebox.”

The explosive second season begins with Tommy on a mission to avenge the death of Lilliana, his former nemesis turned business partner. With Diamond (Isaac Keys) and Jenard (Kris D. Lofton) at odds, the Flynn organization weakened, and a new connect on the scene, Tommy is more determined than ever to take over the Chicago drug world.
Production has just begun in New York, with Michael Ealy (Barbershop, Takers) joining the cast as a new series regular for season four. Ealy joins the cast as Detective Don Carter, a rising NYPD officer who was on track to become Police Commissioner, until his wife was killed in a crossfire between rival drug gangs.
Season three of the popular drama series returns with new twists and new turns as the Tariq, Brayden, Monet, and the Tejadas have to Level Up or Get Taken Down. Vertical Entertainment has acquired the US distribution rights to Burn Your Maps, an adventure drama starring Jacob Tremblay, Academy Award nominee Vera Farmiga and Academy Award winner Virginia Madsen. The theatrical release is planned for Q2 this year. Warner Bros. Pictures will be handling international distribution.
Amblin Television has acquired the rights to Akira Kurosawa's acclaimed film “Rashomon,” according to Variety. The company plans plans to develop it as an anthology series.
Gabriel Ellis, known for gritty portrayals of tough young men from the wrong side of the tracks, is joining Starz's acclaimed crime drama “Power” as a series regular. He will make his debut in the July 8 episode of the show, which airs Sundays at 8 p.m. Eastern/Pacific.
