The producers of EMOJILAND THE MUSICAL announced that the production’s national tour will close after its opening in Columbus, Ohio this weekend. The hit 2020 Off-Broadway show was set for a seven-week tour originally scheduled to kick off on Friday, June 3rd in Columbus, Ohio and play several other cities across the United States.

The Boston premiere of EMOJILAND comes to The Boch Center Shubert Theatre from Tuesday, June 14 – Sunday, June 19, 2022. The University of Wolverhampton is presenting Friday afternoon Zoom panels featuring musical theatre performers and writers as part of LGBT History Month. Every evening from December 5th - 25th of 2020 at 8PM EST/5PM PT, the New Works Virtual Festival will stream video readings of 20 new scripts of non-musical pieces (19 plays, 1 teleplay) as well as an 21st (a 'Christmas Special') featuring the work of a diverse group of writers and all-star cast members.

The New Works Virtual Festival will stream 20 new non-musical scripts every day from December 4th - 24th of 2020 (19 plays, 1 teleplay) featuring the work of a diverse group of writers and all-star cast members. A 21st piece will be selected from holiday-themed submissions to be streamed on December 25th.

From Sunday October 18th to Saturday the 24th, the first-ever New Works Virtual Festival (NWVF) will stream video readings of 20 new scripts featuring the work of a diverse group of writers and all-star cast members. All proceeds will be donated to the Actors Fund.

On Tuesday, May 19, presenters Charles Bush and Julie Halston, along with OBA President Peter Breger, announced the 10th Annual Off Broadway Alliance. The Off Broadway Alliance plans on celebrating this year's winners with a reception this Fall.
