Jonathan Stuart Cerullo has worked on Broadway as Choreography Consultant: Say Goodnight Gracie, Assistant Director and/or Choreo: Band In Berlin, Anna Karenina, The Three Musketeers, original Broadway cast: Legs Diamond, National Tour: CATS and Sweet Charity with Donna McKechnie. Also in New York, he was Choreographer for Big Apple Circus’ Carnivale! & Picturesque at Lincoln Center.

Off-Broadway Dir. and/or Choreo; 2016 Best Director Award Fictitious, Theater Now NY, NYMF 2015; Windywoo and 2009 Best of Fest, Choreographer; Under Fire, La Mama; Pins and Needles, Uta Hagen’s 50 Year Tribute, HB Studios and Equity Library Theatre.

TV: Created and Directed the Canada Royal Theatre, Dear Mr. Gershwin, filmed for CBC TV, Choreo: Great Performances Evening At Pops, Assistant Director: Donny Osmond's, This Is The Moment, Natalie Cole’s Christmas Special. Film: Associate Choreographer: The First Wives Club, The Stepford Wives, The Cowboy Way. He also conceived, produced and directed the SDC Foundation's tribute video for the Mr. Abbott Award for Lifetime Achievement in Theatre.

He is a proud member of SDC, the Stage Director and Choreographers Society, Actors Equity Association, The Dramatist Guild, has served as Vice-Chair and Produced the 2016 SDC Foundation’s Callaway Award, as well as a nominator for the Lucille Lortel Awards.

Last night, January 18th, 2016, Theatre Now New York presented its 3nd Annual festival of new musicals, Sound Bites 3.0 (sponsored by Music Theatre International and Disney Theatrical Productions) to a sold-out house at the 47th Street Theatre. An after-party, sponsored by MTI, was held after at Hurley's Saloon where awards were given. Sound Bites showcases ten 10-minute musicals or musical excerpts in one evening. It was a big night under the big top as Circus Now together with the Big Apple Circus, in association with Executive Producer and Director Jonathan S. Cerullo, JSC Theatricals, presented the 2nd Annual Celebration of American Circusat the Big Top at Lincoln Center on January 5, 2016. For the second year, the Celebration of American Circus boasted an impressive roster of honorees, all of whom have spent decades furthering the appreciation of circus arts in America. Four prominent artists and organizations were recognized for distinguished achievements in the American circus arts.

To honor and spotlight the distinguished achievements in the American circus arts, Circus Now together with the Big Apple Circus, in association with Executive Producer and Director Jonathan S. Cerullo, JSC Theatricals, is proud to present the 2nd Annual Celebration of American Circus at the Big Top at Lincoln Center on January 5, 2016 at 8pm. Part ceremony, part performance, the Celebration of American Circus will honor four artists and/or organizations that have been prominent in the circus arts landscape in America, while spotlighting the thriving state of the circus arts across the nation, and will feature Emcee Thom Wall, with performances from a variety of breath-taking acts.  Tickets start at $25 and are available online at www.circusnow.org/CELEBRATE2016.

The York Theatre Company, and its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, present the New York premiere of three new musicals: Mark Felt, Superstar with book, music and lyrics by Joshua Rosenblum; Paris Through the Window, with book & lyrics by Charles Osborne and music by Leo Hurley; and We Foxes with book, lyrics and music by Ryan Scott Oliver at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). The readings are open to the public with a suggested donation of $5.00.
