Acclaimed actress, Harriet Robinson (National Theatre's Sweet Bird of Youth) will make a triumphant return to theatre with the debut of her one-person play, “My Stellar Performance, But I Digress!” written and performed by Ms. Robinson, with comedian Allison Deller adding her voice to various characters throughout Harriet's life, was adapted and is directed by award-winning director Jonathan S. Cerullo (The Boys from Syracuse, Windywoo, Big Apple Circus).

Theatre Now New York has announced it is accepting online submissions for SOUND BITES 4.0, a 10-minute musical theatre festival and benefit, now through Saturday, October 1, 2016. The festival offers composers, lyricists, and librettists the opportunity to showcase their work in front of theatre-goers and industry professionals.

Last night, January 18th, 2016, Theatre Now New York presented its 3nd Annual festival of new musicals, Sound Bites 3.0 (sponsored by Music Theatre International and Disney Theatrical Productions) to a sold-out house at the 47th Street Theatre. An after-party, sponsored by MTI, was held after at Hurley's Saloon where awards were given. Sound Bites showcases ten 10-minute musicals or musical excerpts in one evening. It was a big night under the big top as Circus Now together with the Big Apple Circus, in association with Executive Producer and Director Jonathan S. Cerullo, JSC Theatricals, presented the 2nd Annual Celebration of American Circusat the Big Top at Lincoln Center on January 5, 2016. For the second year, the Celebration of American Circus boasted an impressive roster of honorees, all of whom have spent decades furthering the appreciation of circus arts in America. Four prominent artists and organizations were recognized for distinguished achievements in the American circus arts.

Part ceremony, part performance, the Celebration of American Circus will honor four artists and/or organizations that have been prominent in the circus arts landscape in America, while spotlighting the thriving state of the circus arts across the nation, and will feature Emcee Thom Wall, with performances from a variety of breath-taking acts. The York Theatre Company, and its acclaimed Developmental Reading Series, present the New York premiere of three new musicals: Mark Felt, Superstar with book, music and lyrics by Joshua Rosenblum; Paris Through the Window, with book & lyrics by Charles Osborne and music by Leo Hurley; and We Foxes with book, lyrics and music by Ryan Scott Oliver at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (Entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). The readings are open to the public with a suggested donation of $5.00.
