On June 29, Snow Pond Center for the Arts will present Broadway Under the Stars: The Classics of Rodgers and Hammerstein with the Snow Pond Symphony Chamber Orchestra. Snow Pond welcomes some of theater's top performers for this one night only event. Directed by Broadway veteran Frances Mercanti-Anthony (Spring Awakening, Jerusalem) and Music Directed by Paul Staroba (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), this spectacular evening is sure to be one you don't want to miss.
Rutgers University Brings on Broadway Industry Professionals to Lead Rutgers High School Musical Theatre Academy

The Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University announces that Stephen Agosto will lead a team of Broadway performers as Artistic Director of The Rutgers High School Musical Theatre Academy. He succeeds founding Artistic Director Alistair Williams. Agosto has a long history in Arts Education, having served on faculty for the TONY award-winning Paper Mill Playhouse and contributing musical theatre curriculum to The New York City Department of Education. Agosto will oversee comprehensive training in Acting led by Frances Mercanti-Anthony, Singing Technique led by Marian Murphy Powell, and Musical Theatre Dance led by Ivette Sosa Dempsey.

Friends in Theater Company and State of Play Productions announces additional casting for The Secret Garden, a two-night only production to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York and Western New York.
