BroadwayWorld has just gotten word that Friends in Theater Company and State of Play Productions' THE SECRET GARDEN, a Broadway benefit for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, has sold out both of its performances later this month. Donations are still being accepted via Friends in Theater's website.

THE SECRET GARDEN will play its first show on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 7:30pm at the Lucille Lortel Theater (121 Christopher Street New York, NY 10014). The second performance will be Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 7:30pm at the same venue.

The fully staged production will be led by Rebecca Luker as Lily, Gabriella Pizzolo as Mary, and Bradley Dean as Archie with Tom Deckman, Ali Ewoldt, Frances Mercanti-Anthony, Bill Nolte, Eli Tokash, Max von Essen, and Cortney Wolfson.

The ensemble features Lacey Angerosa, Zech Azazi, Dan Beckmann, Phillip Claflin, Michael Gioia, Emma Grimsley, Megan Johnson, Jenna Miller, and Michael Yeshion.

Additionally, composer Lucy Simon and original cast member Daisy Egan will co-host the night.

Jonathan Rose returns as Music Director for the two-night engagement, produced by Friends in Theater Company's Phil Accorso and Meryl Ballew with Michael Hull and Alex Rubin and State of Play Productions. THE SECRET GARDEN is written by Marsha Norman (book/lyrics) and Lucy Simon (music).

All proceeds will benefit the local chapter of Make-A-Wish, a non-profit organization that has given hope, strength, and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions since 1980.

Friends in Theater Company endeavors to promote the talent and skills of artists while encouraging them to participate philanthropically. Past beneficiary foundations have included The Make-A-Wish Foundation, The American Cancer Society and The World Trade Center Fund. Visit www.friendsintheater.com for more information.
