But then the malevolent godlike beings called the Masters arrived, and their darkness spread across the world, reshaping it into a twisted realm of savagery and madness. In exchange for his family's protection, Dan now serves one of these alien gods, obtaining human sacrifices to feed his Master's eternal hunger.

The reception will feature musical entertainment by Bluesman Mike and The Blues Review Band, light refreshments and an opportunity to meet the artists. World-famous Gregory Popovich and his sensational Comedy Pet Theater are coming to Hartford for two performances on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts at 2:30 and 6:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at bushnell.org, (860) 987-5900, and at The Bushnell Box Office. Tickets start at $19.50 plus applicable service charges. Popovich Comedy Pet Theater is part of the Robinson and Cole Family Series.

On June 28, Tony's di Napoli Restaurant in Times Square added a new portrait to their outstanding Broadway Wall of Fame honoring the cast of the new Broadway musical, Nice Work If You Can Get It, starring Matthew Broderick, Kelli O'Hara, Michael McGrath, Judy Kaye, Estelle Parsons, Chris Sullivan and Jennifer Laura Thompson. Hosts Valerie Smaldone and Bruce Dimpflmaier presented the Dan May portrait to the show's stars in an intimate ceremony, and BroadwayWorld was there for the photo op!

LOMBARDI Celebrates 200 Performances!

LOMBARDI, now the longest running new play on Broadway, celebrated its 200th performance last Friday, and was honored on Tuesday night with a party at Tony's Di Napoli restaurant at which a stunning oil portrait of stars Dan Lauria and Judith Light was revealed; it will be the newest addition to Tony's prestigious Broadway Wall of Fame. Autographed poster copies will be auctioned off at a future event to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The party was hosted by Bruce Dimpflmaier and Tony's di Napoli Restaurant. Valerie Smaldone produced and emceed the evening. The portrait is by Dan May.
