Review: JOHN PROCTOR IS THE VILLAIN, Royal Court Theatre
by Cindy Marcolina - Mar 27, 2026

After shaking things up overseas, the piece is taking on London now (in the same venue that saw the U.K. premiere of Miller’s chef d’oeuvre seven decades ago almost to the day!) with its full creative team in tow and a brand new cast.

Review: HADESTOWN, Lyric Theatre
by Cindy Marcolina - Feb 22, 2024

Created with director Rachel Chavkin, it’s a story of tragic love and politics, defeat and defiance. An epic anthem for the lovers and the runaways. The actors mostly new to Hadestown, Hades’ underground factory, with only Gloria Onitiri returning as Persephone (rather than a Fate) and Beth Hinton-Lever in the ensemble.
