Everyman Theatre has announced full casting for their production of the classic American comedy and Pulitzer Prize winner, HARVEY by Mary Chase. It will leave you uplifted and appreciative of the joys in life and the magic of the unexpected.

The Sound Inside, by Adam Rapp, now gracing the boards at Baltimore's Everyman Theatre, is one of those all-too-rare plays that just bowls you over, even if, afterwards, you’re not quite sure where you’ve been during its bemusing 90 minutes.

Filled with intrigue, gorgeous writing, stunning imagery, and a healthy dose of mystery, THE SOUND INSIDE by Adam Rapp was nominated for six Tony Awards (including Best Play) and received seven Outer Critics Circle Awards. THE SOUND INSIDE will keep you leaning in, trying to guess how the story will end. Directed by Everyman Theatre's Founder and Artistic Director, Vincent M. Lancisi, THE SOUND INSIDE runs March 5 through April 2.  

​​​​​​​Gulfshore Playhouse announces the cast and creative team of Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling, directed by Kristen Coury, CEO & Producing Artistic Director. Performances begin November 10, with Opening Night on November 12, and runs through December 4 at the Norris Center.

The seven-play season marks the organization’s 32nd, with a varied roster featuring stories from a wide range of playwrights and perspectives. The distinctive, LIVE theatre experience for Everyman patrons offers more access through both in-person and digital opportunities. 

Everyman Theatre is gearing up for one of the most produced plays from the American canon, and the third offering in its LIVE 31st season, Thornton Wilder's romp through the ages, THE SKIN OF OUR TEETH. The production at Everyman Theatre is directed by Associate Artistic Director Noah Himmelstein and runs from December 7, 2021 through January 2, 2022.

Audiences need each other as much as the performers need audiences; in the aisles we feed off each other's energy, helping each other get the jokes, experience the pathos, and admire the performances. Steel Magnolias, is an excellent way to make our return, with plenty of jokes, plenty of pathos, and plenty of opportunities for actors to shine. Baltimore's Everyman Theatre's lovely production makes the most of these assets.

Everyman Theatre is celebrateing the return to live theatre with the first offering in its 2021/2022 season with the iconic family favorite from stage and screen, Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling. The production at Everyman is directed by Casey Stangl and runs from August 10 through September 5.

Round House Theatre is continuing its 2020-2021 Virtual Season with Throw Me on the Burnpile and Light Me Up by Oscar-nominated Beasts of the Southern Wild writer Lucy Alibar. Directed by Round House Artistic Director Ryan Rilette and starring Beth Hylton, Throw Me on the Burnpile and Light Me Up is streaming online May 3 – May 30, 2021.

In the most trying of times, the Round House Theatre has managed to put together a pretty remarkable season, entirely online but leaning on one-person showcases that eliminated the need of distancing among cast members.

The Spring 2021 Season offers three moving, one-person performances: Colman Domingo’s A Boy and His Soul, directed by Craig Wallace; Lucy Alibar’s Throw Me on the Burnpile and Light Me Up, directed by Round House Artistic Director Ryan Rilette; and Young Jean Lee’s We’re Gonna Die, directed by Paige Hernandez.

Founding Artistic Director Vincent M. Lancisi, announced today that Everyman Theatre actors, designers, and crew are back in the rehearsal room preparing for the run of Molly Smith Metzler's 2017 play, Cry It Out. The full production will be filmed at the theatre and available virtually to stream into homes from March 1 through April 11. Lancisi will also direct the play.

Everyman Theatre's Founding Artistic Director Vincent M. Lancisi is thrilled to announce that actors Felicia Curry and Helen Hedman have joined the organization as members of the Everyman Theatre Resident Company of Artists. Everyman Theatre is one of only a handful of Regional Theatres that has a resident company of professional artists as part of its mission.

Everyman Theatre continues its 2019/2020 season with Deborah Zoe Laufer's intricately calibrated production Be Here Now. Laufer also directs the production, which runs January 21 through February 16, 2020.

If I said one should come to the Everyman Theatre and see a play that deals with Geschwind Syndrome you may want to pass or even google it. But do not be put off by this. Just relax and see a play that deals with it. I never heard of this Syndrome and it truly does not make a difference if you know about it beforehand or after you see it. What you will see is an individual who has fainting spells due to temporal lobe epilepsy which results in sexual behavioral disorders.
