KNOXVILLE Original Cast Recording Featuring Jason Danieley & More to be Released This Week

Broadway Records will release the original cast recording of Knoxville. Based on the novel by James Agee, Knoxville recently played a critically acclaimed world premiere run at Asolo Repertory Theatre in Sarasota, Florida. The album will be available everywhere digitally on Friday, October 21, and on physical CD on November 11.

Asolo Repertory Theatre has announced full casting for the world premiere of the new musical KNOXVILLE. KNOXVILLE begins previews on April 15, opens on April 23, and runs through May 11, in the Mertz Theatre, located in the FSU Center for the Performing Arts.

Never has that been truer than in the story of BILLY ELLIOT, currently playing (through November 24) at the Goodspeed Opera House. In this, its final production of the season, Goodspeed brings to life the hit musical (with music by Elton John and book/lyrics by Lee Hall) about a young boy in a coal-mining town in northern England in the 1980's, as he discovers a love (and gift) for dance. The result is an exciting, touching, and thrilling experience filled with stellar performances, inspired staging, and a pitch perfect interpretation of the trying times in which the play is set.
