Adrienne Stiefel Biography
Adrienne began performing at the age of nine, starring in critically acclaimed musicals throughout the Los Angeles area. After landing the title role in Annie in California Music Theater's touring production at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium and Orange County Performing Arts Center (Segerstrom Hall), she went on to star as "Dorothy" in The Wizard of Oz at the San Diego Civic Auditorium and Pasadena's Raymond Theatre.
After replacing Stacy Ferguson (Fergie) as the voice of "Sally Brown" in the Peanuts cartoons, Adrienne recorded many voiceovers and became a regular National Anthem singer for the Lakers, Dodgers, Angels, and Mighty Ducks. Not long after she became the youngest winner ever of the Los Angeles Music Center's prestigious Spotlight Award for her performance of "Someone Like You" at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Adrienne lost her dad to cancer. No longer having a desire to pursue her career in music, Adrienne focused on her academics, graduating with honors from both high school and college.
Years later, she returned to performing when she moved to London and originated the lead role of "Bridie" in the new epic musical, 1916, about the Easter Rising in Ireland. She continued to work in London, originating her favorite role to date, the legendary "Judy Garland," in Ol' Blue Eyes and Friends. Weeks before leaving the UK, Adrienne recorded Malvina Reynolds's hit, "Little Boxes" for the O2 TV ad campaign, "Things are Changing." Her voice in the commercial received such attention throughout Europe that it earned nearly 3 million views on YouTube, and her rendition was released as a single on iTunes, where it rose to #3 on the Singer-Songwriter Chart and #32 overall on the Top 100 Chart. It also went to #12 on the iTunes chart in Spain, and is now available worldwide.
