Former Walt Disney World Actor Launches Podcast To Help Nonprofits And Entrepreneurs

Former Walt Disney World entertainer Alice Fairfax launched the StoryMaven podcast this fall to help nonprofit leaders and entrepreneurs better tell their stories. By offering storytelling tools and behind-the-scenes secrets Fairfax, once an improvisational storyteller at the theme parks, helps business leaders who need to tell their stories daily in everything from a Tweet to a TED Talk.  
CFCArts Announces NOEL: CHRISTMAS AT HOME and HOLIDAY FANTASIA

 CFCArts has announced two more shows to fill the holiday season. First, NOEL: Christmas at Home is a filmed holiday concert for the whole family for a pay-as-you-will price.  Second, due to the sold-out evening concert at Mead Garden, an additional noon concert has been added for the in-person Holiday Fantasia.

Opera Orlando has been working closely with Dr. Phillips Center on safety protocols and procedures to get back to live, in-person performances. “In addition to getting input from fellow opera and theater companies who have started to re-open, Opera Orlando is are incorporating CDC recommendations, local official guidance, and input from Company partner Orlando Health in preparing to launch our 2020-21 season in December,” states executive director Gabriel Preisser. “We have taken the time to ensure we have best practices in place as we get back to producing opera and celebrating our fifth anniversary season with five new productions. It is exciting to be back On the MainStage in just a month's time, and I am personally looking forward to seeing everyone there.”

For the first time since 2006, Orlando Shakes in partnership with UCF will make an enthusiastic return to the Walt Disney Amphitheater at Lake Eola with productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream (March 31 -  April 11, 2021) and Little Shop of Horrors (May 5 - 23, 2021). Orlando Shakes got its start as a cultural touchstone of the Central Florida arts scene by performing an annual season of Shakespeare at Lake Eola beginning in 1989. To promote new safety measures during  the pandemic, the theater is returning to its original home.
