Meet THE ADDAMS FAMILY of Athens Theatre

This weekend will be the first of Athens Theatre's run of 'The Addams Family: A New Musical', and here are just a few of the reasons they're so proud of the show: their cast! On Friday, September 30, the audience can join the company for their traditional - and  free! - Opening Night champagne toast. Sparkling cider will be available for those who are underage.

Red Fish Theatre and AntiGravity Orlando have partnered to present The Rocky Horror Show on October 14, 15, 17, 21, 23, and 24, 2016. With book, music, and lyrics by Richard O-Brien, this aerial-based production of the cult-classic musical is directed by Adam Graham, with choreography by Devon Asadoorian, musical direction by Serina Marshall, and assistant direction by Jacqueline Torgas. This production is produced by AntiGravity Orlando and Red Fish Theatre. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the cast in costume below!

Winter Park Playhouse's ALL HANDS ON DECK transports the audience back to that time with classic tunes, hilarious jokes, and so much more. Based on Bob Hope's 1942 USO tour during World War II, this roadshow turned radio show for the troops has stopped in Winter Park, Florida for the evening!

Walking into Carmine Boutique you would probably look over your shoulder several times as you peruse the shop's collection of skulls and taxidermied items. Carmine Boutique is described as an 'antique, oddities, taxidermy shop with an Edwardian fetish club.' That strange feeling is exactly what Jeremy Seghers felt and immediately sparked the inspiration for producing his immersive staging of DRACULA.

Orlando Shakespeare Theater (Orlando Shakes) in Partnership with UCF presents Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Set on the streets of Victorian London, Jeffrey Hatcher's play honors Robert Louis Stevenson's original novella, "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," while adding a complex interpretation of depravity, lust, love, and horror. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde appears from October 12 to November 13, 2016 in the Goldman Theater. It's a Broadway classic with show tunes that have permeated popular culture. This year Orlando Shakes brings WEST SIDE STORY to its mainstage to kick off its 28th season. With everything that Orlando has endured this Summer, WEST SIDE STORY has never been more relevant. At the start of the show, two cast members come out, one speaking in English, the other in Spanish to dedicated the performance to one of the 49 victims of the Pulse tragedy. It is a touching tribute that fits this story well.
