Paper Mill Payhouse Partners With Jersey Cares for Coat Drive, 11/19-12/30

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee, Producing Artistic Director; Todd Schmidt, Managing Director) a not-for-profit arts organization dedicated to rediscovering and re-imagining classic musicals and plays, is proud to partner with Jersey Cares as a collection site for their annual winter coat drive.  New and gently used coats can be brought during the run time of Paper Mill Playhouse's production of Les Miserables, November 19 through December 30.
 
Over the past fourteen years, Jersey Cares has collected, sorted and distributed thousands of winter coats to New Jersey residents in need through this program.  The donated winter coats benefit at-risk men, woman, children and infants in our area.  Last season Paper Mill Playhouse patrons contributed over 800 coats to this worthy cause. Coats can be dropped off inside the theater's lobby at 22 Brookside Drive in Millburn, NJ.
 
Les Miserables, Cameron Mackintosh and Paper Mill Playhouse present a brand new 25th anniversary production of Boublil & Schönberg's legendary musical with glorious new staging and spectacular reimagined scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo. This new production has already been acclaimed by critics, fans and new audiences and is breaking box office records wherever it goes. The London Times hails the new show "a five star hit, astonishingly powerful and as good as the original." 
 
Due to popular demand, Les Misérables will now play at Paper Mill Playhouse November 19 through December 30, 2010, adding 12 performances.  Les Misérables will play the following performance schedule: Wednesdays at 7:00PM, Thursdays at 1:30PM & 7:00PM, Fridays at 7:00PM, Saturdays at 1:30PM & 7:00PM and Sundays at 1:30PM & 7:00PM. (Extension and holiday weeks have a alternate schedule. Check Paper Mill Playhouse's website for more information regarding the extension.)
