Palace Theatre Announces Third Annual Table Talk Event 3/11

By: Mar. 11, 2011

The Palace Theatre will hold its innovative third annual fundraising event on March 11th at the Derryfield Restaurant Ballroom to give businesses in the greater Manchester area an opportunity to showcase their creative talents, enjoy a night out and network with other businesses. The "Table Talk" event consists of 20 creatively and individually designed tables. Businesses are challenged to pick a "theme" and decorate their sponsored tables to showcase their business. Attendees are also invited to vote for their favorite table design, bid on several live auction items and enjoy dinner and entertainment by members of Palace Theatre Teen Company. The annual "Table Talk" event was included in the New Hampshire Magazine Best of NH 2010 editor's picks.

Adding a new twist to this year's event, the Palace Theatre and the Derryfield Restaurant will open the viewing of these uniquely designed tables to the public from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm prior to the event on Friday, March 11th. The public is invited to enter the Derryfield Ballroom to see the tables and pick up a special 10% discount coupon for lunch entrees at The Derryfield Restaurant on March 11th.

"Table Talk provides a venue that helps local businesses foster new relationships with companies that they may not otherwise have the opportunity to network with and inspires attendees to continue to explore their own creativity and involvement with the Arts," said Emily Shakra, Palace Theatre Trustee and Committee Co-Chair.
Last year's winning tables were Apotheca Flowers and Tea Chest and Bedford Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry and the top tables selected by the group belonged to Upstairs Downstairs Interior Design and Kriss Cosmetics.

More than 25 local organizations are expected to participate in the event presented by M. L. Halle Oil and hosted by The Derryfield Restaurant. All proceeds from the evening's event will support the Palace Youth Theatre and its Performing Arts Youth Programs, which have become an integral part of the historic Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH. Thanks to the time, talent and generosity of its supporters, the Palace Theatre is able to offer financial aid, scholarships, and welcome in more than 30,000 children to experience the magic of live theatre each year. To become a "Table Talk" business partner, please contact Tammi Graff at the Palace Theatre at 603-668-5588.
