North Star AMEZION Church Hosts Ladies Wearing Hats...

North Star AMEZION Church now located in Newington NH will host the 3nd annual Ladies Wearing Hats and Men wear Hats Too!

North Star is looking for Women and Men, boys and girls, young or old to wear their most fabulous and festive hats to be judged in a best hat contest. Prizes will be awarded to the three individuals wearing the best hats.

In addition to the hat contest, there will be a program featuring live music by North Stars own "Right Now Band" and guest, skits, and short presentations on famous Bad Girls of the Bible and what we can learn from them. Eve had food issues. Potphar's Wife had man trouble. Lot's Wife and Michal could not let go of the past, Sapphira could not let go of her money and Jezebel couldn't let go of anything. Yet the Woman at the Well quenched her thirst for the truth, while Rahab and the Sinful Woman left their sordid histories behind, proving Bad Girls can have a gloriously good future.

Come show off your hat or be a part of the audience either way it will be a fun experience. Enter your crazy hat, antique hat, occupation hat, mama's Sunday hat, homemade hats or Red Hats - All style of hats are welcomed.

The 100 Hats event will be at the Old Town Hall, 336 Nimble Hill Rd, Newington, NH. Sunday, May 15, 2011, program begins at 3:30 pm rain or shine. Donations are accepted and appreciated.
